Gary and Katz Jackson own and manage Feather-Ridge Farm. They raise registered Morgans and manage a pheasant hunting game farm. In 2005 their stallion Bethesda Horus was Midwest Distance Driving Association Champion for Limited Distance Competitive Driving. Gary and Katz also compete in Cowboy Mounted Shooting (CMS)Competitions. As a result of points accumulated from these competitions, Horus placed fifth in the American Morgan Horse Association National Open Competition Division and was selected as Cowboy Mounted Shooting Horse of the Year by the Mounted Justice CMS Club.

Gary and Katz are expecting five foals at Feather-Ridge this spring, so it appears they will continue to be busy training and competing with their horses. They are excited about expanding their involvement in competitive driving. If all goes well both Katz and Gary will be competing this year. Katz will be driving a pair or single, (depending on how the training goes), of Horus's daughters and Gary will continue to compete with Horus. They are also beginning to train their horses in dressage and look forward to showing in this area as well.
