  2001 Chestnut gelding. Butte is nearly 16 HH, tall and handsome, naturally athletic and intelligent. He is extremely responsive under saddle, with a bold trot, easy canter, and a great walk. His responsiveness to leg pressure produces beautiful side passes and leg yields. He has great potential as a dressage horse and collects naturally. He is also a super hunter/jumper prospect. He is started in cowboy mounted shooting and driving. In fall of 2010 he helped pack out an elk in the Colorado Rockies, and rode like a champ throughout the week there. |
